I stay within 1 km fron Ai Tong, Do i also need to balloting ?? Will it be under 2B or 2C ?? Pls help… Thanks

from 2010 to 2012 (past 3 years) -
Yes, balloting took place within 1 km, both 2B and 2C.

for Ai Tong primary, Phase 2B is for :-
Parent Volunteer(s), Hokkien Huay Kuan member(s), Grassroot activity leaders.

if you're none of the above -
then you come under Phase 2C (ie. public).

P1, TUR:23%
P2A, APP:8% TUR:28%
P2B, APP:21% TUR:36%
P2C, APP:73% TUR:83%

Does this mean that if I do PV work, its a guaranteed place? Even if I didn’t take up PV work I can get a place if I’m within 1 or 2km? as from what I gathered is it only had balloting last year at Phase 2C Sup for more than 2km. Thanks alot.

The statistics above show that by the end of P2C, 83% of the total available vacancies (or 199 out of 240) were taken up. Hence, there were still vacancies available at the end of P2C and the school would proceed to P2CS. So, yes, based on the statistics above, your child will have no problem getting in during P2C, all things remaining equal.

Assuming that balloting last year at P2CS was for SCs and your child was a SC, yes, your child would have gotten in successfully given the information.
