What test next week? :yikes: what subject?
Hubby told me the P said all students must pass english to be promoted to sec 2. End of orientation and honeymoon...lessons begin next Monday.
No more TV, games, iPad...in short, entertainment of any kind.
My kids only play iPad games & watch TV programmes over weekends & during school holidays. No time for entertainment on weekdays. Have to do homework, learn spelling & study for test.

Weekdays are so busy with homework, revision and reading up. If son has time for ipad, that would be very amazing. Math teacher keeps class on their toes.

Son is in birthday mood, so he is not exactly in the mood for studying :slapshead: ...followed by CNY.

Is it really possible to be prepared for Sec 1???

Although hours are longer, subjects are doubled, somehow I feel time doesn't pass as fast as last year :? It's mid Feb, but I yearn for public holidays badly.

Well, it really depend how fast you make the transition from a Primary school to Secondary school life. Your classmate and school atmosphere greatly affect different individual. My girl is sec 1 now seem makking good in road to her new school. I have another girl in sec 2 now who also her last year sec 1 school life. It is certainly very very busy and stressful...but this is where you learn life is not that plain smoothly and you need to adapt to manage stress and deadlines. Both of my girls are in different schools. :xedfingers:

transition to secondary school is definitely variable from child to child...you are right, it is indeed VERY VERY BUSY. hours in school for certain days are long as it can be 10 hours if school starts at 715am and ends at 6pm.
