Dubai is lovely, but please don't go between May to Aug where it's among the hottest period. Temperature can go as high as 50 deg cel during the day. Best time during winter between Dec to Feb as weather will be cooler.
Can try skiing at their man-made Indoor Ski Resort, take an exciting Dune Ride, go on a Camel Ride or have a Campfire BBQ in the middle of the Desert... :love:

I don’t think you can rent a whole apartment for such a short term. There are many nice and cheap hotels you can stay in.
