agree that the hotels are nice but the place...is 'fake' and the service is lousy.

      desert safari is so-so 😞

Personally, i don't like the place at all.

I think most modern up and coming cities are somewhat ‘fake’ or man made.

        Desert safari.
We were 80 people from the worldwide offices. Convo of 20 SUVs. Cool weather 15C and great company. Food passable though.
It was a collective feel good outing hence it was fun.
I do admire the driver’s skill to navigate some rather high sand dunes.

Dubai is lovely, but please don't go between May to Aug where it's among the hottest period. Temperature can go as high as 50 deg cel during the day. Best time during winter between Dec to Feb as weather will be cooler.

Can try skiing at their man-made Indoor Ski Resort, take an exciting Dune Ride, go on a Camel Ride or have a Campfire BBQ in the middle of the Desert... 😄

I’m planning to visit Dubai in March.

Can you give me an idea of price to rent a 1BDR apt for 4 days in Dubai Marina area?

              Thanks

I don’t think you can rent a whole apartment for such a short term. There are many nice and cheap hotels you can stay in.

I have a layover in Dubai for a few hours. Anything I should be checking out?
