try atlantis the palm. its a bit pricey but worth it. it has a dolphin bay beach where your kids can swim with dolphins in shallow water and it also has a theme park called aquaventure where there are many fun water slides. and the hotel room is very luxurious and is really on the atlantis theme thing. its expensive but its like a disneyland hotel except with the ocean theme

Its too expensive for me...more than $1000 sgd per night according to some hotel websites. I am looking for rooms around $150-$250.

Any more recommendation of places of interest ?

          thanks

          regards

7.5hrs, anyway will only plan 1-2 yrs later. According to some dubai websites, many metro stations are not ready yet.

Yup, Dubai is nice and modern. 😄

I was there for a meeting early part of this year. Cool weather.

Around Jumeirah Beach is nice. I stayed in the Sofitel.

                  Desert Safari was fun!

Yes dubai owns the most modern and biggest hotels. In this case no one can beat them.

agree that the hotels are nice but the place...is 'fake' and the service is lousy.

                      desert safari is so-so 😞

Personally, i don't like the place at all.

I think most modern up and coming cities are somewhat ‘fake’ or man made.

                        Desert safari.
We were 80 people from the worldwide offices. Convo of 20 SUVs. Cool weather 15C and great company. Food passable though.
It was a collective feel good outing hence it was fun.
I do admire the driver’s skill to navigate some rather high sand dunes.
