Just sharing an up and coming pianist - Yuja Wang, who created quite a controversy with regards to her dressing. I like her rendition of Scarlatti, excellent technique and depicts the mood very well. Enjoy…
I showed ds her rendition of 'The Flight of the Bumblebee'; and all he could muster was, \"whoa, scary!\" Hahaha.

Amazing isn’t it? I like the way she brings out the countermelody in the Turkish March and Flight of the Bumblebee. Could literally “see” where the bees went. 😄

We would like to share a very beautiful video by the Command Sisters, Charlotte and Sarah, who were both former MYC students (Charlotte is a Moonbeams 3 graduate!). At ages 14 and 17 they have released a CD through iTunes and Amazon and perform all over Canada and the US. Charlotte composed this one for the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. Please take a listen:

That will depend on your skill level. On the advanced sides (grade 7/8) you have very good arrangements done by Denes Agay and Dan Coates. For intermediate level the commonly played one is by Robert Schultz. All these should be easily available online or at your music retailer.

The second recording sounds better. Are you the pianist?

The little gal is so good. And nice piano too.

Btw, has Seiler gone under or it's still alive?

Her parents will be glad to hear that. She has potential, with more technical training and polish I think she can make very nice music in the future.

Cristofori is still the dealer for the Seiler. The Seiler they have at the funan hall is very good and well maintained, one of the better grand pianos I played in Singapore. Never tried the Shigeru Kawai at The Arts House yet, one day should rent the place and organise concert there.
