RIPMWC will be on Mar 26. Special round will be on Apr 19 for the top 50.
My kid's school seems not inviting students to apply at all, that's why I am asking in the forum whether any Maths Olympiads registration has begun?
Any website link?
According to the above website, participants will take round 1 test in their own schools. You may want to contact them for more details. The contact details are at the bottom of the webpage.[/quote]I contacted HeyMaths and their explanations are clear enough. I emailed the principal, but no news from him.
If Olympiads fees are paid by parents, why the schools are choosing students. It should have an open invitation, whosoever wants to participate. Let students go to the test venue themselves. Easy job right? Does this affecting the school's name? I mean the school's name will be blacklisted if students are done badly? -

Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC)
American Mathematics Competition (AMC 8/10/12)
No need to go through schools ...

If I am not wrong, the round 1 test is online. So, it depends on the number of computers each school has.

Morning will be my boy's first test - higher chinese.
I am so nervous. He had spent the whole day revising by himself as I don't think I can help much.
His compre is not strong, so I am hoping for a reasonable cloze passage and é å„. Time management too another concern.
Hope he can pass.

My kid will be having her CA this week but she has been so busy with homework and activities. Honework has increased many folds this year. Not been able to do any real revision. Not done any pass years papers save for the ones she did in class. I just see how it goes.

Same here. Mine starting this Thursday and her CCA competition just ended. No proper revision. Hope i would not suffer heart attack
