Oh no! I do not even do the basic to care for my face :yikes:
wah... Either you have very good skin or you are very young (haven't Kenna the aging problem yet) or both 😆

Pls at least do the basic care - cleanse, tone, mositurise and sunblock.

These simple steps will go a long way, esp sunblock.

            MintyMin:

Is there a difference between the water bank n water pack?

Think water bank is the series- that has toner, cleanser and others while water pack is the sleeping mask that allows u to apply and sleep. Next morning, will have Bo-ing Bo-ing effect! Heh

Bo-ing Bo-ing :rotflmao: I know. And I agree! Try to do a scrub before the mask. Exfoliation will help the skin to absorb whatever mask/cream that u put on later better.

20% discount at Metro is great excuse to go out. I didn't have chance to flutter from floor to floor yest  bought working pants for hubby, paid and then met mum at counter. That laneige toner which I bought is a discontinued range...$25. Why not? Mum did use it before.

Janet.. Why do you need an \"excuse\" to go out?? :scratchhead:

Without a maid, have to take care of ourselves more.

Eg, the face...basic cleansing milk, toner, sunblock, eye gel.
The hair is crowning glory...so have to look presentable.
Lipstick also a must to look fresh.
I wear necklace and ring. Just bought a toner from laneige.
                    Mummy Janet :hugs:
Hope you read the highlighted words with a smile on your face 😄

Not only physically but emotionally we have to take care; having that special time where you get to sit back and relax on your own is pretty much the deciding factor between a pleasant and an extremely overworked version of you- and I believe you are doing so..especially you are finding more \"ME-TIME\" :snuggles:

The thing about finding time to unwind is that it doesn't need to be fancy or special. You don't need to go on a long vacation or spend hours out of the house. You just need to find a special time every day when you can unplug, lock yourself away and do something you truly enjoy.

That's it. You won't even need as many vacations or outings if you do this simple little thing. It's amazing how effective it is. What do I mean by something you enjoy? It's different for everyone. Some people like to just watch TV or a movie for an hour or two. Other people read a book or take a bath. I am sure you able to find something you love and enjoy doing 😄

ooops! I am :offtopic: posting here as this thread is meant for \"All About Life Without Maids\" 😂

I have been using Karcher vacuum cleaner for several years…it is heavy but the floor is really clean after that…all the dust and hair go straight into the water. No more sneezing episodes for me. I vacuum twice a week…once on Mon/Tue and Friday (hubby will mop on Sat).

Without a maid, my house isn’t spotless of course…with maid, my floor is cleaned 3x a week when kids passed the crawling stage. But I quarreled more with hubby when there was a maid. He was so damn free that he could start quarrels…especially when PUB bill came every month. Had to cut costs drastically…rice, supermarket stuff.
