scaly whoever that detective is been assigned to investigate also die an unnatural death just like that 21 year old girl ... his body also get drowned in a water tank. Better Don't investigate. In US/UK, some of the hotels got frightening history.
Cameras outside the lift should shed some light. I don't envy whichever detective is assigned to the case...
It kinda reminds me of The Shining - except this actually happened for real.

Er ... I was reading about this hotel's famous previous occupants and one was named Richard Ramirez aka \"Night Stalker\", a serial killer. I copied this quote from Wikipedia :My speculation is she was possessed by a girl spirit of about 10 years old from the way:
