My DH wouldn't dare ignore me... Yes, it'll make me angrier. He behaves normal, like nothing is wrong, even if I have no response, he'll talk. He can have a monologue. This behaviour also makes me angry but ignoring me would be worse for him.
Your dh is initiating conversation and pacifying you already. He is handling argument very well, give you 台阶下 😉

Sleepy, I'm green with envy. 😉

Dh's biggest plus point is he doesn't mind giving me full discretion to manage his finance. In fact he's quite happy to be hands off, totally clueless on our bank balance and expenditures as long I transfer a fixed sum to his personal account each month.

Once, I compained to him that he never bother to write a single cheque or file his own income tax return ever since we got married, he immediately retorted 'I have a cpa wife so why should I bother with all these?' :faint:

I'm getting more green... So envious!

I get fixed sum into my personal account. I monitor the joint bank balance but don't touch it. I'm not 100% sure that he doesn't have another bank account or accounts. Fortunately, he doesn't question about my credit card bills... I think I'm more prudent than him ( except when I'm angry ). Yes, every card he has, I have a supplementary card. The banks will be stupid not to waive the fees cos the expenditure from supplementary cards is higher in my case.

And I shop at supermarkets cos I can use credit cards and enjoy the aircon, plus it's fixed prices so don't need to haggle over prices. I'm not so Aunty after all (ahem, still in denial )... Which is why I'm not at the other Aunty thread though I do peep sometimes.

Perhaps so. But he won't apologise till I ask him to.

This is the aunty question. i'm curious and got to stretch the $. For ntuc, is the fairprice plus card by ocbc or maybank better?

For giant supermkt, I heard it's HSBC card but forgot how it works....
may bank has tie up with Ntuc meh? I always use Ntuc union card when I buy from Ntuc.

As for giant, seem like citibank smart card better than hsbc.

The family & friends MasterCard offer 5% rebate in the monthly statement for NTUC, Cold Storage purchases. Guardian, zoo, bird park etc.

At Popular, if using NTUC master card, it’s 1% rebate…maybank 5% rebate.

furthermore, when hubby applied for maybank, 10 years annual fee waiver.
sometimes, cold storage has similar rebate promotion with maybank for grocery purchases.

Realized UOB cards have good promotions for eateries.

                        :yikes:

Reading all the above I was :scared: :yikes: :yikes:
                        Am I short-changing myself?
Am I going to be happier after swiping all these stuff while in a foul mood?? Or will I get heartache over stuff that I would not have bought on a normal situation? Is the issue gonna be solved after all these purchases??

...... I guess different strokes for different people. If I am to go on a shopping spree while being angry, I think I will anyhow splurge & come home even more fedup. And this time not just with someone else, it's with myself 😉
