      Agree.

Focus on hypy is minimal after initial months.
But still important to get basics right as kids rely on them to use e dictionary. My foundation is poor so I need to consult my older boy to type hypy when chinese SMS.

Will you consider purchasing berries k2 materials to do revision at home? You can try to get from your berries classmates if they attended last year. They have this talking pen and book on hypy which my boy will take out once in a while to revise. Not sure if all centres are the same materials.

Yes agree with you that Berries talking pen and HYPY book pretty interesting. I think all centres use the same materials. I manage to get on hold of those Berries materials such as Reader books. My child can automatically take out the talking pen to point to the reader books.

DS did not attend or learn any HYPY during his k2. So that why i am looking for tuition centre that is more focused on HYPY.

          Crystalbelle,

Personally, i find there's not a need coz if not wrong after tis HYPY test in mar, they will b drill ALL d way in Yunyu.. Which actually for my DS case oredi started. :yikes: every fri coming back hm wif instruction to 认生字! 68 characters!!!! :yikes: :yikes: if u r really concern mayb can drill DS everynite wif few HYPY. I do afree tat berries is not enuf to help them out in Yunyu.even d berries instructor agreed. Bt i find back in sch oredi so muc empathise (mayb dry) so am continuing for DS to cultivate so fun & interest.
Tats is also d primary reason y i didnt chose TienHesin, wh r mre acamdemic.

Well as u know, diff kids diff strokes, got to boils dwn to wat u n d kiddo really needs.
          Just my few cents... :heresmyfish:[/quote]

Do note that the reader pen can only be used on their k2 books. It is a pity as I find it good.

                        Hi Club 2006. It’s been pretty quiet…

My DS2 is starting his Show and Tell this term ( and this week), and he finds it difficult and he feels stressed. He’s normally an outgoing and talkative boy but I think the thought of presenting in front of his class scares him out. The FT kept reminding parents to practise and practise till perfection.

How do you all do it with your children?
