Harlow ah pek.. can underline plastic bag with straits times first la.. addoi. :slapshead: And please of course can don't be so rough oso.. like just throw the durian in from a height.. must gently tuck those spikeys in.. If you put in watermelons from a height with even NTUC or Cold Storage plastic bag, it will tear of course!

I personally know this cos i was in a rush to run some errands one evening and upon paying for my melon that day, I told hubs to carry it. He said how to take train and bus home liddat, must put plastic. I let him hold the plastic i quickly grab from near the cashier counter and without even looking at him or the bag, i just plop it in. The watermelon rolled out of the supermarket like a bowling ball much to the roaring and hysterical laughter from my kids (and everybody else's!) till i fully realized the consequence of my action or rather from my lack of attention. To which hubs and i laughed with them too till tears rolled down our cheeks in fact!

Of course, i dare not exchange that melon but instead only took another plastic bag for it nia. Thankfully, it was still juicy nevertheless... :politebleah: like they say, prefer it stirred not shaken.

The takeaway from this was a priceless science/life experiment that the girls remember till today. The minute someone starts a liner like, \"Remember that funny time... mommy and that watermelon...\"... everyone will burst into guffaws!

Oi. You super auntie leh. You should look the cashier in the eye and say: \"This one dropped liao I dowan already.\" See who blink first.

Afterall, if you spill your Coke when removing it from the counter at Mickey D's, the staff will still give you a new one while telling you not to worry about it and they will clear it up with a mop. THAT's customer service 🙂

Aunty here will ask cashier what promotion is avail for member…like the endless emails I get from aussino…popped by just now. Saw this very colorful design. There was ‘Less 50%’…but cashier said nett price.

Hubby wanted to buy strawberries that day…Giant selling at $4.80. Told him, get from NTUC…cheaper. As usual, he will tell me petrol not cheap. But he will always be at Bukit Panjang plaza every Sat as son has tuition.
                      Choose big and red strawberries.
