      KiausuLormee:
      Sorry JieHeng this is the exact question that need your help in solving:

      Express 0.368 as a fraction in its lowest term.
      (6 and 8 is a recurring decimal)
      Let X = 0.3686868....

      1000X = 368.686868....

      10X = 3.686868....

      1000X -10X = 368.686868.... - 3.686868....

      990X = 365
      X = 365/990 = 73/198

              Pls post P6 Maths question on Q&A - PSLE Math

              After Jack gave 1/3 of the total amount of money he had to Tom , he left 2/3 of his money . Jack --> 2u and he gave 1u to Tom

              In the end
              Jack 2u
              Tom 2u

              Before Jack gave 1/3 (1u) of the total amount of money he had to Tom
              Jack 3u
              Tom 1u

              After Tom gave 1/4 of his money to Jack , he left 3/4 of his money.
              3/4 --> 1u , as 1u is not divisible by 3 , change Tom 1u --> 1u*3 = 3u and Jack 3u --> 3u*3 = 9u

              New ratio
              Jack 9u
              Tom 3u

              3/4 --> 3u
              1/4 -->1u
              Tom gave 1/4 (1u) of his money to Jack

              At first
              Jack 8u
              Tom 4u

              8u + 4U --> 1440
              12u --> 1440
              1u -->120

              Jack
              8u --> 8*120 = 960

              Tom
              4u --> 4*120 = 480

                    I assume 1/3r as (1/3)r and not 1/(3r)

                    A
                    =h[4m+(1/3)r]
                    =20m[4m+(1/3)r]
                    =20(1/5)[4(1/5) + (1/3)(-7)]
                    =4(4/5 - 7/3)
                    =4( 12/15 - 35/15 )
                    =4 (- 23/15)
                    = - 92/15
                    = - 6 2/15
