I believe sinoboy lives on the same planet as we do. But I have serious doubt that he is an working adult/parent.

Or if he is a working adult/parent, no wonder he is being passed for promotions ... :siam:

You don't believe SB or me? No wonder my kids gave me a funny look when I explained my theory to them. πŸ˜‰

I know exactly what you were saying. πŸ˜‰

            sinoboy:

Now that I have a better understanding. I definitely want my DC to go overseas.
Or get your DC to be his/her own boss.... that way, no one can ever run over your DC... even in the bad economy time, a boss is still a boss

In one of the thread some time back, sinoboy's \"group-hugs\" to welcome the influx of all the PRC mei mei (his words:- the more the merrier..) left a lasting impression.... and also, so often that he talks about his yearning for a Lexus, a not-so-super-car.

Lexus is a quiet car what. Our MM bought one of the first few LS400 by the way. But with the current 50% downpayment and much of it goes to financing the COE, I'll continue to drive my merc. πŸ˜„

A serious question for you. Have you ever worked in the private sector before? :scratchhead:
Except for one year in a quasi stat board, and 2 1/2 years NS (completed my full 13 years cycle btw), all my life I've been in the private sector. My desire for an overseas education is real albeit not fulfilled. I wasn't joking with the ranking and pecking order as I now see it as a new norm to evaluating staff potential (especially before they implemented the sg/pr vs ft quota). I'm like other KSP emulating our ex PMs, MM, current PM & ministers all sending their DC overseas to study, so don't see anything wrong unless you are saying our ministers are also from another world. And yes I'm an earthling with limited ζ…§ζ Ή that's why I love ζ‘ƒθŠ±and prefer to :grphug: mei mei. :celebrate:
