looking at Innova primary P1 English Paper 1 and Paper 2 requirements -On the whole, we love this school as the teachers are friendly and the staff are helpful. (Email responses get answered almost immediately).
But if you rather prefer your kids to be loaded with school homework and have extra lessons all the time, then I don't think this will be a good school for him/her. Their homework is quite minimal and the kids are not overload with school work. I kinda of like their approach.
seems like Innova quite academic.
P1 have to start writing composition. wah !
(bec i thought most schools start writing compo from P2 onwards.)

Hiโฆ my first post ever in Kiasu Parentsโฆ thanks to my kiasuism as a parent of a 5 yr old boy!
My son will be in P1 in 2015. Reading the reviews on Innova Pri, getting me all psyched up! Should I be registering as PV there already?
im a full time working mum and wonder how long do I have to complete the 40hrs of PV?
And if I stay even more than 2km radius, does my chances as PV increase the probability of getting a place? -

Hi buds,
Welcome to the queue, Chen!buds:
We want to transfer my P3 girl to Innova because i find morning seesion will be better. Anyone know how to make the transfer success? Any advice & tips you want to share with me on my decision?
Thks!

We've been waiting for a few months already.
Once you're there, you'd see how thick the wait list file is!
I'm keeping my girls' names there and will definitely swap once
i get to transfer \"both\" my girls there... cos currently i'm being
offered only one...
Still hoping for a favourable update
in weeks to come.
mind to share how you done with the transferring process for your girls to innova? any documents needed during the wait list inclusion? My #1 is P2 this year, intend to transfer him to innova if possible. My #2 will be P1 nx year, also plan for innova. we stayed within 1km-2km from innova. from the past record, it required ballot <1km, sigh, slim chance for us.
as both of us are working parents, hence pv also not possible, sigh :slapshead:
any advise? thanks.
Hi, sorry. Just seen this now.
We didn't take up the space eventually, because they only offered us one seat for our elder dd. I was going to deliver my #3 anytime oredi by then, so putting my girls in separate schools would definitely affect logistics amongst other things. I still love the school, just that no opportunity to send my girls there. Will definitely consider this school for my boys if we are still residing around Woodlands.
Sorry, wasn't able to be of much help. -
I heard rave reviews about the school but I am a bit concerned because I heard hw are kept to a minimum and even a P6 girl staying at my place has time to play with neighbors every afternoon. I wonder why is she so free?
-
Perhaps she has managed to finish hw and revision? Aniwaes it is good if children have sufficient time to play; and sleep too, for that matter.
