My dd's friend told me that classes A,B and C are for normal stream. First class is D followed by E and so on for express. My dd is in 1E.The COP is 229 for this year.

Can anyone share more about PHS?How are the teachers ,discipline,principal…How’s the standard there as my friend was telling me it’s quite low.

:?: JUS WANTED TO SHARE MY GIRLFRIEND'S EXPERIENCE AFT SHE ENROLED DAUGHTER IN PHS. BEGINNING EVERYTHING OK & IMPRESSIVE.


HWR WHEN SCHOOL STARTED :?: . WHY U ASK? APPARENTLY AFT SEC 1 ORIENTATION SCHOOL DECIDES CCA TO TAKE. U HV NOT MUCH OF A CHOICE. HER GIRL GOT :?: NPCC :?: . SO STRESS. IT SEEMS THEY HV A RULE TT STATES U MUST HV A CORE CCA. IF U WANT TO TAKE OTHER CCA THAT IS NOT A CORE THAT WLD BE IMPOSSIBLE. UNLESS U TAKE I CORE & 1 NON CORE. CHECK IT OUT ON SAT 30/10 COZ THEY R HVING OPEN HSE.

ALSO TEACHERS REALLY NOT DEDICATED EXCEPT FOR MATH & ENGLISH ONES. SO FORGET IT IF U WANT TO MAJOR IN SCIENCE. JUST RECENTLY 1 DAY BEFORE EXAMS TEACHER CONDUCTED REMEDIAL FOR TOPICS YET TO BE COVERED BUT STILL WILL COME OUT FOR EXAMS. IMAGINE 1 DAY BEFORE EXAMS.

THEY HV WIRED RULE LIKE NO USAGE HANDPHONES IN SCHOOL PREMISES. OR THEY WILL CONFISCATE. BUT MOST OF THE TIME TEACHERS SEND REMINDERS & MSGS THRU HANDPHONE. SOMETIMES MGS CAN BE SENT AS EARLY AS 0130AM. NO JOKE. MY FRIEND WAS SO FRUSTRATED WHEN SHE GOT MSG AT 1AM REMINIDING STUDENTS TO BRING TIE FOR THEIR THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION OR MASS. SO GO FIGURE.

MY GIRLFRIEND JUST WENT TO SCH TO COLLECT THE REPORT BOOK. REALLY PITY HER. SHE WAS SO MAD! HER CHILD’S CLASS DID SO BADLY IN SCIENCE. MIND U THIS IS THE SAME TEACHER WHO HELD REMEDIAL CLASS TO COVER UNFINISHED TOPICS ONE DAY BEFORE EXAMS. KENA SABO OR TEACHER JUST CANT BE BOTHERED.


BUT THE FUNNY THING IS THE TEACHERS ARE THERE TO SELL DON’T KNOW WHAT BOOK, NOTHING THAT WILL HELP THE STUDENT IN THE STUDIES, AT $25.00. IT SEEMS IT IS COMPLUSORY. JUST TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SCHOOL. WHAT TO DO SHE BOUGHT THE BOOK. AFRAID HER CHILD GOT "BLACK MARKED"!
