My DD is P5 this year…I cannot tell the difference between P4 and P5 on their work. My DD has less homework…can be finished in 1 hour everyday.

I got a little bit worry. Are all P5 class the same situation.

I heard some schools’ P5 students stay back for enrichment class 3 times a week. Why did I not feel any stress for my P5 DD?

Moving to 53, Mount Sinai Road next year, is also my another concern…Hope the moving will not affect my DD who will seat in PSLE 2014.

if HPPS can move out June this year and RGPS only start Jan 2014, that means RGPS has 6 months to move and get ready at the holding sch..... any delay is not a good news for the students, especially those taking PSLE next year....

heard from dd the art T has already started packing and disposing those old stuffs....

just called up Henry Park primary, 5 minutes ago.

HPPS confirmed that they'll be shifting out soon ... this coming June 2013.

heard that the evening peak hour traffic at Holland is ... unbearable.

Yes. RGPS has confirmed that there's no change in the shifting schedule by EOY as per current update.

Share the same sentiment. What DD is having now is HCL enrichment class only. DD's former classmates are having all subjects for enrichment held in school from 2-5pm. Some parents that I spoke to, welcomed this initiative held by the school. Not only it helps in their school work and revision, it facilitates as a form of free tuition with $$$ savings as well.

Hi Book Worm, how is your DD's homework? How long will your DD spend on her homework? I heard from other parents mentioned before, P4 is the honeymoon year for Primary students; there will be a lot of work in P5.
Why I still have the honeymoon feeling with my DD's P5 study...

              Hi,
Periodically, DD can have couple of homework per day or none for certain days. Take apprx 1.5 hrs to complete.

I am sorry to interrupt. I have been short listed for a PV interview. Feeling very anxious about it.

Can anyone share with your experience with me please?

                  Thanks so much!!

                    2 possible reasons -

                    1. teach less, learn more
                    2. parents will fill the gap

the 2rd reason is more possible.

KSP, how is your DD's class? got a lot homeworks everyday?

not really, she can finish all her sch h/w before dinner time..... but she has to stay back in sch more this year.....

if u are worried, u can always do the 2nd option which i'm doing now...
