I asked my ds about the letter and he said he didn't get one. :mad: He said there would be no bus back to the school. I will not be able to pick him up, so he will have to take MRT and it will be his first time taking MRT alone. Hope he can find his way home.

Do you have access to your ds’s EMB? My ds refused to give me the access and said it is meant for students only. But he sometimes forgets to pass me school’s letter, notice or give it to me the last minute and it could be disruptive to my schedule. Can’t the school send by email to parents directly or is it available somewhere at the Portals?

I do have access to DS Embed & icomp portal. There's lots of info in EMB, includes CCA, school work, events, etc. Term 1 result can be found in icomp. The consortium director actually encourage the parents to HP checking EMB, as the boys may get too busy & may not have time to check. I hardly use the parents portal.

What happen if kids refuse to share the password with parents for emb, which is true for students only. In this case can the school publish all conscent form, exam time-table, term time-table and important events details at ISP? Else if they want parent to read emb, why not give parent a mirror image logon account?

The EMB is primarily for the students. Letters and consent forms are usually available in hard copies or via emails.

Just that the other day he said, give me I also din check , then I realise he's not aware that I've login. So, I just leave it as it is. He sees that it's his responsibility to check EMB evy day.
