Club Super Daddies
-
To start off, I would share two activities that I was doing with my kids recently. Hope to find some like-minded people.
I sent DD (P6) and DS (P3) to STTA Toa Payoh for their Learn-to-Play table tennis program late last year. They’re now hooked to the game, especially DS. After the 10 lessons we have engaged a personal coach and working to get the basics right with the hope that one day they may join the regional coaching centres (Tampines). It means Daddy also have to keep pace in learning the correct basics and keeping one step ahead in ability . Good if I can find players in the East that we can play with.
DS was quite mechanically-inclined, so we started building remote control cars (mostly Tamiya 1/10 electric) after last year’s final exams. To date, we have completed several cars. If you have similar interest maybe we can meet and share. -
Another issue that I may be confronting will be the replacement for aging Nintendo Wii. Candidates include :
1) PS2
2) Wii U
3) XBox (with Kinect)
4) None (rely on traditional PC or tablets instead)
Kids have enjoyed the WII games (Lego series, SSBB, Sonic Olympics etc), but I feel those games may start to be a little kiddyish for them. Any daddies would like to share their musings ? -

Is it my imagination, or are we daddies seriously outnumbered here?

Hi everyone, I'm new here...wondering how daddies juggle play time and work time?
While work is never ending, play time with kids is also important...so how do you juggle?
Thanks,
John -
I must admit I do not juggle that well…
