insider:
:rotflmao: This is the first time I hear of novocaine having cosmetic effects! Now I can imagine loads of tai tais going to dentists to get shot up just before those dinner parties...
Now half face paralysed due to numbness (noticed something interesting. The numbed part of the face has no ζ³δ»€ηΊΉ while the other side has. Once side looks 'younger' and the other side looks 'older'. Well, similar to Botox effect!)
Safer than botox, with no lasting side effects :imcool: . Come 12am and we are all back to our droopy old selves
Your dentist's pricing is good. Very happy for you that you have gotten rid of that toothache and it didn't cost you an arm or leg.insider:
Need to take more care with implants. While the charges do not seem too exorbitant, remember that implants essentially involve open surgery - they are drilling a metal bit right into your skull. High competency is definitely needed.Anyway, the implant charges there is $3500 all in per tooth. If my root canal goes smoothly, then I bring my brother there for the tooth implant (think 2 to 3 years back the cost quoted was about $7000/tooth in Paragon).
insider:
I may have had more root canals than I can remember, but I never quite get used to the drilling and filing and tugging. It feels weird that the dentist is sweating and seems to be exerting all his brute strength mangling your jaw, and yet you feel nothing. Yucks. Was amazed that 'root canal' actually quite an 'easy' process (used to imagine very difficult). Hopefully I have this ηη«η’°ε°ζ»θιΌ luck again, coz this dentist I really sort of plucked from the air without any recommendation...

BTW, I got another type from Japan, DIY cast a soft rubber teeth mold and fill it with whitening gel, but have to wear for 8 hours... too long, no patient, I can only tahan for 1.5 hours max... maybe that's why not so effective.
But but but.... heeheehee, yesterday I just received my parcel, I ordered from eBay, a set of whitening gel that comes with a laser blue light, like what the dentist whitening kits... haven't tried yet, gonna try it on Good Friday

PS. I am very into porcelain white teeth like those in Hollywoods, luckily my teeth is in good shape, only I wished they are whiter... a girlfriend did the GlamSmile, polished off a layer of her natural teeth to lay on a layer of thin film (porcelain?) now her teeth are really WHITE... She spent $18K for that set of perfect-whites! Not only the \"whites\", the GlamSmile corrected a few of her misaligned teeth.... like the HK singer Sammi Cheng. :please: -
