Eating fruits or vege as a meal will lead to lots of gas.

Because there's nothing else inside there to blend with except gas, that's why. But hopefully the gas is more aromatherapy blend since it is the fruity dose intake. :please:

If you ladies like spicy chilli, I recommend you this place at Lucky Plaza 2nd floor. Ayam Penyet...the chilli is so spicy you can tear...oh yes, free flow of chilli.
      Like chilli? :skeptical:

      LOVE chilli you mean?

      Me.. me.. me! :imcool:

Indonesian style of cooking. My favorites are chicken wings (have to order rice), tahu telor, soto ayam. Order lime juice to cool down.
The chilli must be chilli padi...it is so spicy that just a little of it can make me cry. There are lots of stalls who are copycats...the one at lucky plaza is the real thing.
After all that tantalizing description, you still have not given us the name of the shop. :faint:

Not sure if this is the same Ayam Penyet with burning hot yet sensational chilli that you raved about, because couple of weeks ago we tried out this Ayam Penyet Ria at Far East Plaza since the SAKURA Thai/Indo cuisine seemed to have closed down.

        Their chilli is really ...................

        Cannot talk. Too spicy.
        Not at first bite though.
You'd taste the FULL flavour after a few mouthfuls of the ayam penyet with the chilli. I was on fire! But yah, shiok. :siao:

                Buds,

Thanks…that’s the one. Name of restaurant is Ayam Penyet.
Chilli paste has to be chilli padi…even my brother who can eat chilli sweats.
Avoid lunch hour…many office workers. 1130-1145 is best time. Oh yes, there is this enoki mushroom deep fried to perfection, but not always avail.

Steamed fish marinate? dun hv. Just half a tomato (cut into slices), one shittake mushroom (cut into slices), a dash of hua tiao wine n a dash of soya sauce. My boys like it this way 🤷 less work for me 😂

I hv done the stirfry bittergourd in the past, taste wise so-so only. Hubby usu. very diplomatic when it comes to commenting my cooking  Tonight, try out another method of cooking:

                      1. saute garlic + fermented black beans
                      2. add the fish slices
                      3. add the bitter gourd slices + chilli padi + wolfberries
                      4. seasonings - hua tiao wine + light soya sauce

maybe add an egg + oyster sauce? do you think this is ok???
