P2B includes grassroots, not just PV

While schools are in control over the number of PV they take in, they are not in control over

        - the number of available places in P2B
        - the number of grassroot applicants

That is why some popular school rather not to take in PV.

I’m curious to find out whether a PV can proceed to register their kids under Phase 2B for the year if they have not finished clocking their PV hours? Does it deviate from school to school?

You may not get the letter from school to qualify under P2B if you are unable to clock in the min hours required by the school.

The terms & condition including minimum number of hours to clock in are stated clearly inside the pv application form, before you submit. The Pv supervisor will monitor you closely, ensure you’ve contributed sufficiently to the school to their satisfaction, before the school issue you the 2b letter you’re waiting for. If you do not contribute to their satisfaction, the school will not issue you the letter.

As long as the school issue the PV the letter, the PV is eligible to register

Does anybody know whether Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School still takes in parent volunteer? I went to their website and cannot locate the PV form. I emailed to them but no reply.

but they could have just changed the practice too

Wow, just saw on Ai Tong website that they will only take in 10 PVs to do traffic duties in a ballot this year. Overwhelming number of applicants. Only SCs living within 1km will be eligible for the PV ballot.
