I only booked my hotel & have not done any detailed planning of itineary yet as just back from HK last week, but will start soon. U can consider the places that I have visited during my last trip :

        Gyeongbokgung palace & Gwanghwamun square
Garden of the morning calm & Nami island
        Cheonggyecheon stream
        Lotte world
        Everland
        Pororo park
        Noryangin fish market
Trick eye museum & Hongik free market
Dongdaemun market (toys & stationery street)
        Namdaemun market

Places which I intend to cover for my upcoming trip
        Coex aquarium
        Kidzania
        Insadong
        Seoul Tower
        Namsangol hanok village
Korean Folk village & Suwon fortress
Gwacheon national science muesum (for dinosaurs & space shuttle)
        Jimjibang (local spa & sauna)
Will revisit Garden of morning calm for the winter lightings

not forgetting Lotteworld again 😂 as its nearer compare to everland and shopping in myeongdong, namdaemun & dongdaemun market.

initially wanted to visit the ski resort for snow sledding but hubby not very keen to break up our stay in the hotel & the journey to the ski resort is quite far. anyway there are plenty of places to snow sled in seoul. we changed our mind for jeju & busan too since its winter i guess nothing much so decided to stay put in seoul again

I kiasu so book early coz there's only 8 premium rooms, 1 on each floor & its always fully booked. They have infact increased their rate abit compare to last year. For my premium room 2 adults & 2 kids, its abt $1870 (8 nites) after conversion. Breakfast now is free only for 2 occupants compare to last time its for all. I'm ok with it coz my last trip only my hubby went for breakfast, my kids & I rather sleep more :snooze: The breakfast is not fantastic but decent enough to start the day with.
Location wise, prince hotel also not bad but i need 2 queen beds which they dont have.

I also hope to see snow but weather is something we cant control. Last year their winter came early so hopefully will be the same for this year.

Thanks for all the tips in this forum. I’ve also booked my air tickets and accommodation already. But have opted for an apartment instead because of the size of my family. Not so difficult to plan for free and easy afterall! Just hope it will also be easy when I’m there. It will be during autumn!

We were there last autumn, nice & cool 😄 So fast book air tickets? Which airline? Some airlines have promo every now and then. Ya its easy to plan free & easy as u decide your own itinerary, just need to do some homework/ research. Dont worry its actually quite easy to move around in seoul, most of the touristy places can be reach by subway. U can always ask for help when in need, koreans are very nice & helpful, at least the ones I met.
