            hihi..

so you hv money plants too! :please:

The only thriving plant I ever had was the money plant.
Well actually, it thrived by itself. Its quite an easy plant!

But I did not hv any support pole in the pot , and so one fine day , it just decided to climb up the walls!

I rather like the sight , actually.

But I was afraid that I may be charged for defacing public property (the plant was placed outside my flat), so I got rid of the plant.
How sllly! Should hv just trimmed it!

This money plant has been with us for many years liao, possibly coming to 8 years. From a small pot to a medium pot, now a big pot. Cant afford to upsize anymore: too heavy to lift anywhere.

Agree it is very easy to take care of: top up soil regularly, trim once a while and letting its own yellow/dried leaves act as an organic fertilizers.

                  Not true lah.

I can only handle easy to grow plants.

I would like to grow some flowering plants. Tried to grow from seeds, but either dry out and die out 😒 or too wet and die out :? Hiaz, like an unfathomable woman. In the end, I dumped all the remaining seeds into the big bag of soil. This bag of soil was subsequently used to top up the soil of other pots of plants.

Recently I noticed some seedlings in the tomato plant pots. So I gathered all of them n transplanted these in another pot. Let's see what I get in a few weeks' time - weed or those abandoned seeds?

Reminded me of the time when DD2 was trying to be funny with the daddy..

He was scolding her about wasting electricity.. what else? Forgot to turn off switches la. Then, he barked the usual old school...\"Do you think money grows on trees or what? There's no such thing ok!\"

DD2 decided to mutter something under her breath then... \"Got what... money plant...\"

To which she got herself into BIG trouble.

Who asked her to land herself in it. 🀷

                    Kids. πŸ˜†
