Imami:
I shop at drugstore, book depository, Victoria secrets and vitacost more frequently. So far very good experiences. Except vs, sometimes the size is not the same. Eg top a you can wear s size but top b, s size is very big. Something like that. And some of their cutting are... Erm... I think I need to wear a bib to cover up.
VS there should be a chart with measurements. I always get wifey to measure up first before buying...aint joking here. -
so far,
i shop at
fairprice.com.sg to get my inventory but they like falling on deaf ears despite me making so much feedback to them to increase the variety.
ebay at times when i cant find any at other sites. most like last resort.
qoo.com.sg and gmarket.co.kr. which brings me to hw i hate the courier who likes to press my doorbell more than 3times and most of the time during my DDs nap time.
amazon.com or amazon.co.uk… great service and so far most of the stuff i need are in US or UK. lol.
aliexpress seems good…wah shopping on it now… -
Have been a online shopping freak for years but recently kind of stop as I feel I need to control this addiction or it will control me! Haha
Used to shop at Taobao, Iherb, Qoo.com, Endless.com (buy over by Amazon), Amazon.com, join sprees at SMH & local blogshops.
Was crazy over blogshop shopping that I bought at least 3 pieces a week! Surprisingly, their material was not bad and size fits me well. So far so good…no complains. -
Hello, sorry I am not sure if this is the correct thread to post this but I really need some help with my item tracking, hope someone could shed some light on this issue.
when I track my item, this status "Departure from outward office of exchange" has appeared since a month ago. However, the latest update is still "departure from outward office of exchange".
The following is my tracking result:

2013-04-01 08:51 广州国际 51003100 Opening

2013-04-02 17:31 广州国际 51003100 Departure from outward office of exchange
May I know when will it truly leave the country for shipment then? Thanks, I appreciate your help. -
Online scams leave victims $18,000 poorer
Some shoppers get duped into paying extra fees due to 'delivery problems'
Published on Apr 07, 2013
The Sunday Time

Online scammers have cheated Singaporeans of more than $18,000 in just three months, adding a new twist by squeezing victims even more after claiming delivery problems.
First, they would offer cheap mobile phones and tablet smartphones on free classified sites such as http://www.gumtree.com.sg and http://www.locanto.sg
After shoppers have transferred the money through inter-bank transfers or Western Union to an overseas account, they would then receive an e-mail message asking for more money.
The scammers would claim that the items had been wrongly delivered to Malaysia or that they were stuck at the Singapore Customs, going so far as to provide a \"seizure notice\" as proof.
They would also claim that there was a delivery mix-up.
In each case, the online shopper is asked to pay an additional fee for \"storage\" or to retrieve the goods from Customs. The items never reached the shoppers despite the extra payment.
The police told The Sunday Times there have been 16 reports made between January and last month. And in four of the cases, the victims were duped into making further payments of at least $5,000 in total.
\"The attempt to cheat victims of further payments is a new modus operandi extended from the typical e-commerce scams, where culprits fail to deliver goods purchased online,\" said a police spokesman.
Letters alerting the public to the scam have been put up by police in several constituencies.
This was shared by Nee Soon GRC MP Lee Bee Wah on her Facebook page last Wednesday.
\"You will want to ask yourself even more questions if the deal is too good to be true. There is no free lunch in this modern-day context,\" she told The Sunday Times.
The police advised shoppers to be aware of such scams and do business only with those they know and trust. Also, be sure to know where the seller's company is physically located.
Anyone with information related to these cases may call the police on 1800-255-0000.

I always use Paypal for payment, never buy from any shopping sites that do not accept Paypal. I trust that Paypal has done the diligence to approve the merchants.

I always use Paypal too. But not bcoz I trust the merchants they approve, it's bcoz of the buyers protection policy.
Any issue, raise a dispute. Not resolved, escalate to a claim.
That why even shopping on Qoo10, I rather pay 50cts more to pay by paypal.
Don't really trust the Qoo10 after hearing some horror stories when it come to delivery issues.. -
I am the opposite. I used to trust paypal as a secure mode of payment. Recently, I bought some items from Amazon using my own credit card - no problem. I used Hopshopgo for shipping, paying via paypal.
When I received my bank statement recently, I noticed an unauthorised transaction very close to the date charged by Hopshopgo . I quickly alerted paypal & lodged a claim dispute. I alerted them that my account could have been compromised at their end. The transaction did not appear in my account history with paypal at all. They came back to refuse my claim. Then, I called up my bank to block the card & inform them abt the unauthorised transaction. At that time, my bank notified me that there has been a second unauthorised transaction for same amount & vendor thru paypal. I am still waiting for my bank to revert which may take 2-3 mths. I wrote again to paypal abt my case via email & you know what they replied? They asked me to call them instead. :censored: Time-wasting customer service! They never followup on my reply.
I am a careful online user & I don't open suspicious emails at all. I could only recall that I had problems logging on to Hopshopgo that time when I wanted to ship my items. Dh has experienced receiving suspicious looking email from paypal wanting to charge him for something he didn't order. He ignored them.
My experience with q0010 on the other hand has been very good. No prob with refunds, delivery, etc. I am a frequent shopper there. The customer service is excellent. Whenever, I report a seller inresponsiveness to their customer service, I will receive the seller's very soon. -
Qoo10 if u bought from local is 50/50 but overseas one is they won’t refund unless ship back and even if you ship back the seller might not refund too. My sister bought swimming costume and the size she receive is different from the website and the seller kept delaying and don’t want to refund. She later only refund 1 instead of all as she not willing to refund full and the additional charge for shipping she also never refund. Inform Qoo10 and u have to trouble yourself to do follow up and also take pic of the item with measurement etc.
For me, previous I have evidence I won the camera Polaroid but gmarket denied saying because their system error and don’t push me like a ball to call this department and email the marketing department etc. To me trustworthy or not depends on the seller and not qoo10 cos qoo10 simply have no responsibility at all. My Polaroid thing is happened last year and I still keep the proof and I don’t know this online lucky draw (roulette) thing is look for who coz I never buy anything is just by luck I won. Anyway qoo10 or groupon is not as good as it seems to be. -
Hi,
I have been purchasing from qoo10 , gmarket , taobao via agent .
As for qoo10 , so far so good for me . Seller revert to enquires promptly and the delivery is really fast even from overseas seller S.Korea.
So far i have yet to encounter any problem with qoo10 . I think qoo10 is pretty reputable , so i believe they wont scam our $$ .
Anyone orders from taobao ?
