I'm sure all defendants have the same hope!! 😆

Anyway, what has the prosecution shown so far other than the facts that there were gifts and sex (once?)?

They have also shown that he is in the position to influence her grades.

            That's all they need.

Now it is Tey's job to convince the judge that the gifts and sex are not a form of gratification in a corrupted act. If he cannot do that, it will be presumed that they are and he will be convicted.

Too bad not everyone read in depth into the case, and most people judge him (the case) by intuition, spectators of emotion aka court of opinion.

Also, note that not all audience see the importance of the upheld of the justice, but the judgement.... not until any such case happens to them, that is.

I’m not versed in law or court proceeding, but like the other 2 cases, the prosecution looked weak. This is disturbing coz I presume they must be of some substance to be working as prosecutors and they also have plenty of resources at their disposal.

When a state's case not won, may not be entirely the incompetence of the prosecutor.
Before the case is a court case, the investigators and many other personnels involved in presenting the case. A prosecutor is merely a litigator to present the case, but not the ones that conclude the case.

The judge that takes the bench, even deep down he knows which party is guilty, he is not to make judgement out from the left side of his chest. He too, not above the law, and shall deliver judgement of justice.

Law, the very basis of human right.... anyone still remember this?

NBG's case is weak because they are clearly in an EMA. That makes the sexual acts possibly out of the EMA rather than corruption. Judge made a great call here but he was helped by the flipping testimony of CS and her credibility impeached by prosecution.

PL's case so far is not weak at all. They are trying to go along NBG's strategy but won't work for him. Apart from the two \"claiming\" to have a liking of each other and the weird dress sense of the woman, nothing else to suggest that they pair are involved romantically.

Nah, the part that PL leak out the intent of the tender is just too weak. First, it's quite common practice for agencies to make enquiries to possible suppliers coz that how they gather info to write up the technical part of the tender. Secondly, it appeared that other than the possibility of a tender for the said equipment, she knew no details on the requirements to allow her a clear advantage.

It's just not convincing at all.

                      But nebbermind....just for discussion only.

Sex caused the downfall of some men…for eg that underage pros.

Tey’s wife must be out of town for long time for him to be so free.
See how long this fella wants to play with judge.
