Sex caused the downfall of some men...for eg that underage pros.
Tey's wife must be out of town for long time for him to be so free.
See how long this fella wants to play with judge.
He will want to drag for as long as he can. Drag in unrelated stuff like his mental health, harassment, etc. Maybe might bring in UFO later. -
Other faces can forget easily but not his.. ...
What a joker... :siao: -
AC_Power:
He can drag on, bec now he's being paid by nus law faculty every month, although he's been suspended.

But if one day his $ salary is cut off -
see whether he still in a mood to drag on and on.
Yes, sex caused his downfall.
If he \"Guai Guai\" just concentrate on teaching din get involved with dk, all these won't have happened. -

Because it is still early days yet and the prosecution is still trying to admit his CPIB statements. Hence, the trial within a trial. Whether there are other prosecution witnesses after the trial within a trial, we shall see.
What's your take, admissible?
Should the judge ruled inadmissible, then the prosecutor only left DK's statement. -
phtthp:
then there maybe something else that'll become his downfall

Maybe he doesn't trust any other lawyer?
And because he wants to play time with judge, that's why he doesn't want to hire any lawyer to represent him. Hiring a lawyer will mean spending $$$.janet_lee88:

anyway, all his so-called \"trial within a trial\" scenario(s) - doesn't make him look credible.
Btw, court proceeding is not FOC hor, drag on means pay more only  -
Court proceedings not cheap…but this fella very thick skinned (likes to be scolded by judge) and misses the court room…as such he is buying time. Can’t NUS cut off his pay? Maybe he would not dare to drag. So what if he is defending himself?
His wife is smart to stay away. -

Got meh? When? I think it's simply because the voters have succumbed to envy.bcoz voters are sold the idea of \"whiter than white\" and they expect nothing less
Isn't that told by 1 or many of the great leaders? It is as seductive as \"Two is Enough\".. And everyone fell for it.. -

IIRC, \"whiter than white\" is first mentioned by our great leaders.

Why shd we expect \"whiter than white\" and appreciate it's importance in leaders is as seductive as why \"Two is Enough\".. bcoz it's just so true.. -

Technically speaking, during a trial, judges will hear from the witnesses and defendants their testimonies in court. Admitting of statements usually are done after the credibility of the witness/defendant is impeached - ie, cannot trust what he say in court, so fall back onto the statement.pirate:

I believe Tey right now had denied something he admitted in his statements to CPIB and hence they are trying to impeach his credibility and have his statements admitted. Countering that move, Tey is now dragging this into a trial-within-trial in an attempt to block the admission by saying that statements were given non-voluntarily.
For DK, appearing as prosecution witness, I think she already gave her testimony and prosecution seems to be okay with her.
