I used either spin or persil ( can't remember which ) previously. Had issue of damp smell when weather was wet, as my clothes are all dried indoors. After I changed brand, my clothes hardly ever have that damp smell. ( Goodness, I sound like a commercial.... I'm not related in anyway to any of above brands. ) I'm not so particular about scent, as long as clothes smell clean, I'm happy.

Appreciate your recommendations. Top is good...especially for indoor.

Told hubby that phrase…about colored and white clothes. He said I am fussy.

Of course lah, when kids wear white shirt/blouse to school, it reflects on ME.
If his white working shirt is not white, it also reflects on ME.
Does he like to wear shirts with a damp smell?

Yes, I think it is TOP.
Switched back to Persil bcos of low suds. I put one cup of Kao wide bleach with Persil to wash. Wide bleach is for colored and white clothes. Am I advertising? :roll:

Am reducing the detergent cos use less water, and adjusting the use of laundry bags cos they get entangled due to 6 motion wash.

Your laundry bag get entangled? I do not have this problem leh.

What do you put in your laundry bag? How full is it?

Previously I used laundry bags for all clothes. Didn't like the way clothes got stretched during a higher rpm spin. To get the wash balanced, used at least 6 bags in each wash. Sometimes, the big bag will contain just 2 or 3 pieces of clothing.

Quite happy that i can adjust the spin rpm speed with LG, so I use a lower rpm of 800. Still put undergarments and t-shirts in laundry bags. Seems ok, so far. :xedfingers:[/quote]I do not put all the clothes in the laundry bag. Only selective clothings, n 2 pieces in a laundry bag.

TOP has low suds too, I think it's the purple packaging one
I'm using both TOP and persil, depending on which one having promo
No difference to me.

I never hang laundry outside the house. Air indoor only.
Oh, and same detergent for white & coloured clothings.
Also no difference to me.

I have a phobia holding heavy bamboo putting clothes out to dry.

Since grilles are locked, I always dry clothes inside…morning sun is so direct and hot. Tonight I am using just the Kao perfume liquid wash.

Also no difference to me.[/quote]Yup. The TOP detergent for low suds is the purple package for coloured clothes. Today, I saw a light blue TOP packaging, also low suds AND anti-bacterial, but didn't specifically mention whether for white or coloured clothes.

The TOP liquid detergent I use for my whites, is in a red bottle. For front and top load washers. I think it has a better scent compared to purple package.

Definitely good for indoor drying in my case, I very rarely have that damp smell from my clothes.

I also have that phobia. Also have phobia that maid will fall.... Grilles always locked. All clothes are dried indoors.

I couldn’t stand the smell for both Tops n Persil.Will feel headache…


i can’t take some of fragrance from moisturizer,lotion or shampoo too.
