Hahaha, the ginseng will bu the cockroaches! Just kidding.

How àbout investing in a thermal warmer? I usually keep hot soup inside for a day. The tiger brand one is good.

Wah, nebbermind, Tks for the detailed piggy intestinal info. I saw the curly intestine which You mentioned is the Fallopian tube, and :scared: so long ah! Yes, it s called Sheng Chang.

That day read happy homebaking blog, about wrapping ham and cheese in tortilla then fry it a little. I tried it, kids and hb said it was good.

Same here, if everyday eat bread, everyone will :spank: me. Tomorrow will be oats days For the older ones. Younger ones will have yogurt and banana.
I'm having my pre-morning breakfast now. Stomach cramps. Having almond cornflakes and hot water. Will take a menstrual panadol before going back to sleep later.

apply oil on tummy and rest. it will kick-start the panadol faster.

        What kind of oil?
How about RuYi oil.
Tomorrow's breakfast will be ginseng chicken porridge from MIL .... already in the slow cooker. Lol.

How come have not heard from you? Still slurping up the yummy porridge? 😂

Woke up late :slapshead: couldn't sleep tight last night, too worried over that pot of porridge, will the slow cooker cause short circuit? will it burnt? Will it spill? Will it turn bad by morning? Will the smell attract cockroaches? :slapshead: :slapshead: :slapshead: ..... :lightrod:
:rotflmao:

anyway, nothing happened right? How's the taste of the porridge?

Heng nothing happened, but the worry costed me my sleep :gloomy:

The porridge was overdone, chicken meat too \"old\" liao and kind of bitter either too much ginseng or due to the wrong type of ginseng used.

I think no need overnight cooking la, just boil 3 hrs would do. The rice inside the chicken stomach overflowed and absorb all the water and ended up no the watery porridge with \"urm\"; more like the Cantonese porridge.

Anyway, no more brewing anything overnight in my kitchen :xedfingers: sleep is more important.

Lol, the rice is stuff into the poor chicken's stomach leh, then sewed up the stomach, and boil in the soup... supposedly is to let the rice absorb all the chicken's flavor, only break it out when it's time to eat, but the poor chicken's stomach couldn't stomach any longer and burst open... there goes the soup, all absorbed by the rice :slapshead: and what we got was a pot of sticky and gluey Cantonese porridge.

Btw, how's the life of having a teochew ah nia wife like?

It's killing my brain cells.
Years back when I was staying with a few uni friends in an apt, we always hole up in our respective room, being young, no one bothered to check the door window etc... one day, some one boiled a kettle of water on gas stove but forgot to check on it.... :yikes:

The next morning when I went to the kitchen to grab my breakfast, I saw tens of dead cockroaches on the kitchen floor and the kitchen is so stuffy and hot... there i found the whole kettle melted and weld onto the gas stove :yikes: :yikes:

The kettle's water was boiled dry and the kettle melted, luckily only half pot so the boiling didn't splash water and killed the fire, or else we were be gas!! :yikes: :yikes:

Since then, I only used whistle kettle....
