There is this RPA, Raffles Parents Alumni (I am not sure abt the full name) which all parents are part of. They do organize occasional events such as the recent Family Day. You can get involved and speak to other parents

Hi Orangebelt, getting into sports CCA in Raffles is not easy as there is limited slots for each sports CCA. If DS had no prior background, he can enrol for the trials which for some sports like tennis, there are only 2 to 3 slots available

DS mentioned that teacher told them, due to limited slot, if you don't have the pink slip, don't have to see or go.
I was like... 'What?, this is the time to know more about the teacher and what's going on in the school. And we don't even need to go?'
Anyway, got no choice as once you login to the PTM site, most of the slots already gone. And those available were gone 'in a blink of an eye'..

I did not meet any teachers last year too.. My DS said exactly the same thing as your DS.. Haha.. šŸ˜‚

Anyway, I logged on the PTM website at 11.05 today and most of the slots had already been taken up..

Well, even if you are not meeting the teachers this Friday, you can still attend the Talks for the various levels (4-5pm) to find out what's going on in RI, and to clarify any doubts should you have any.. šŸ˜„

If you are unable to get a slot to see the teacher, you can email them with your queries or even arrange to see them on another day

There are limited slots for each teacher, so not everyone will get a chance to see the teacher
