      MdmKS:
CSC, do you know if the IP schools do the same? Whether students (whether CL or HCL) at IP school take 'O' MT at sec 3?

      MdmKS,

From what I know, most IP schools require their students to take 'O' MT exam at sec 3 and HCL exam at sec 4 - if the student is taking HMT. Not sure about those who just take MT alone. 😄

Will the other pupils who aren’t a Christian be biased against my daughter due to the fact that she isn’t a Christian?

              Haiz…

She wanted to go to MGS at first because she felt that the school was really beautiful. However, my husband objected due to the fact that MGS was a christian school and he felt that the students over there would be biased against her, thus she was forced to give up on MGS. She is currently now studying in SCGS.

My dd is in MGS SBC program, she doesnt think that people are biased against non-Christians. Biasness or Discrimination is not one of Christian’s teaching.

My hubby and I like MGS for its culture and well-rounded education. My dd qualifies for RGS but we discouraged her from choosing it due to my bad experience with the school during the DSA. Some parents may say we are stupid, but I think education is not all about scoring As, you need to balance, character building is important too. I’m not saying that RGS does not have character building programs (i’m not sure) but I have very bad experience during the DSA which forms my opinion about the culture there (I’m not sharing). I do not want my daughter to grow up in these sorts of environment and thinking that it is fine. (Btw, my daughter was from RGPS)

Hi, my daughter is currently in GEP in P6 and she wants to apply for MGS through DSA as that is her original school. May I know the chances of her getting into the SBC in MGS if she is accepted by MGS? By the way, she was in MGS from P1-P3 until GEP and was selected for the SBC and to be a prefect in P3, however she left to participate in the GEP which MGS does not offer. Thanks! 🙂
