Certainly not so nice of you to say that SJI copies RI uniform.. Many schools choose white shirts & white shorts/pants for their boys.. Haven't you noticed it at all ?
The power of 'White' as in the 'Men in White' (MIW ... not MIB)...
The belt I think is optional for students wearing long pants. And SJI really sien, probably copy RI uniform, only the badge and the design of the shirt is different.Agent Odd:
what is the difference in the uniform between JC and sec students? why some wearing black belts?
from far, can't really see the difference between SJI and RI students. -
wearing whites are OK. sometimes from the look or presentation of the students can even differentiate which is from RI or other schools when shopping in J8.

You are right, octoberbaby..
Somehow, I can tell the difference, even from afar...

My eyes fail de. But actually since RI is the oldest sch in Singapore, all the other schools probably base their uniform on RI, true or not?

I and my son registered as Singapore citizen recently. Will my son be able to get those scholarships such as EESIS that only Singaporean can be awarded? Should I inform the school? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I thought I ever noticed that RI (pants) back pocket has Raffles written on it?

As long as your son is top 3% of cohort, EESIS is given based on merits -

Yes.. Both the RI shorts and long pants have \"Raffles\" on the back pockets.. The socks have too..
CHS, SJI, ACS and many other schools have too..
But must be very near the boys then can see..
