When my kids were younger and had to take those jabs, we always brew and standby ling yang tonic water (http://www.livingtouch.com/358/ling-yang-jiao-antelope-horn/) coz it's effective in bringing down the temp.

My trick is after jab, I will give a reduced dosage of panadol for kids that doc prescribed in case of fever.

Yup, that's what I do as well. A dose for paracetamol after the jab. Kiddos never had any fever after any of the jabs.

Nothing worth mentioning about my lunch today, except the dessert.

It was this deep fried diced sweet potato coated with thick caramel brown sugar syrup, to eat it have to dip the syrup coated sweet potato dice into a bowl of ice cubes water.

Once dip into the ice, the syrup coating crystallized to a crispy sugar layer wrapping the diced sweet potato.

Wah seh, I am so going to do this dessert at home… thing is, can I bake the sweet potatoes instead of deep fry? Anyone can advice?

Hehe. No recipe. Just the cold soba sauce bought from NTUC added to hot boiling water.

I buy the bottled chinchalok from NTUC.

Cut the cucumber lengthwise into 4 sections, remove the seeds, put all cucumber in a plastic bag, add salt, give a good shake, put the plastic bag in the fridge for an hour.

Remove the cucumber, wash away the salt. Cut into bite size and put into a glass container, add the chinchalok, give a good shake and leave the glass container in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
