      Kiasu Bee:
Does anyone know if active community leaders have priority over the parent volunteers under the same phase 2B?

Grass root leaders & parent volunteers have the same priority, during phase 2b. They compete equally, when come to balloting during 2b.

However once the entire p1 registration end, in the event a vacancy arise before p1 term 1 start - the principal may give priority to the pv, if she'd failed to ballot in during phase 2b. The pv had contributed her time, her effort directly to the needs of the school. The principal, pv supervisor in charge had seen her clocking up hours diligently. What she had contributed directly to the school - is taken into account. The principal may give, not must give. The discretion is up to the p, who to give the place to.

        Is this a joke?

RC manager wrote letter of appointment for RC cleaner which being paid less than $250pm. Some of the job scopes are: ‘bank-in RC cheque by the next day, clean aircon, manning RC centre, answer phone calls.’

Questions: what is the role of RC manager? What is the role of treasurer?

          Hi,

There’s a RC just below my block & I don’t see much of activity other than a couple of block parties once a quarter. Given this condition, can I join the CC in our respective executive committee ?
Also, should I join the cc/rc which is nearest to the school of choice or in the grc in general ( I stay at pasir ris & there are 2 CCs. One in east & one in west .The school of my choice is in east).
          Thanks

You have to join the rc that your block is in.

I dont think so. By the way, there is a limit of 30 members per rc, and you need to first sit in as observer first before your rc committee decides if they wanna co-opt u in as member... Its not as straight forward as it seem to be.....

If there is a limit of 30 members per Rc (for hdb dwellers) per batch of p1 registration, then is there also a limit for nc ( for those staying in private housing like condo or landed property)? Is the limit also Another 30 for nc, or more, or lesser ?

If the grc constitute both Rc and nc (or is there another c?), means there’ll be at least 60 members per grc each batch of applicants under phase 2b ? Is this how grc work? How does grc cap or control the limit each year for registered applicants ?

30 is the max number of committee members allowed in each rc or nc. It has nothing to do with the number of applicants.

is there any quota of the number of active rc member in that 30 who can get the letter of recommendation, assuming all of them are active.

Every grc has one Rc plus one nc ?

So total maximum number of committee members allowed, each batch = 60 ?
Assuming all these 60 are active grassroot leaders, does it mean all 60 will receive phase 2b authorized letter, participate in balloting ?

Is there any unique grc that has only one Rc, but no nc ?
Or is there any special grc that has only one nc, but no Rc ?

On a high level picture - how does this grc work ?
How about members from CCmc (another c) ?
Are they already inside these 60 committee members, or outside 60 ?
