RGPS mommies - Thanks for your various reassurance on the school bus journey & 1st few days of school.

I remembered reading somewhere that we have to pack food for the P1 girls for their recess during the 1st 2 weeks of school. Is this your understanding too ?

      Thanks πŸ™‚

      Rgds,
      Ming

i thk it's better to pack .. but even if they don't their p2 buddy will show them the stall and assist them. my p1 dd is nervous but last nite her sis in p6 have briefed her the routine of what to expect frm boarding the bus to sch hall to recess and dismissal. Dd1 will observe her during recess. She feels better now πŸ™‚

Thanks for your kind reply. Last minute help required: for tomorrow the 1st day of school, should the girl be wearing school uniform or PE attire, i.e. PE T-shirt & short ?

          Thanks.

          Rgds,
          Ming

Hope it has the sewn on tag too. The bus driver sometimes also provides another \"Bus Tag\" to help the children and PV along.

All the best on the First Day of School term, Parents! πŸ˜‰

                  Dear all,

My girl was so tired from today's exciting as well as tiring P1 day that she fell asleep at 9pm....

Tomorrow she is supposed to wear PE attire, pardon me for asking a seeming obvious question but does she need to wear the pinafore over the PE t-shirt and short ?

Also, anybody is aware if we need to give the original vaccination certificate together with the health booklet to the school ?

Last question: for the student handbook, does she need to bring it on a daily basis or the handbook will be kept by the school ?

                  Thanks a lot ! πŸ™‚

                  Rgds,
                  Ming

hi i was there during recess time… glad many settled well … she has spelling list to learn now (that’s fast!)…

Yes PE t shirt/shorts over pinafore. tmrw to brg health book, passport photo (this will be paste on the report book).

The photo for ezlink card will be taken professionally by the school in school uniform (check again w the sch if they still do this like the previous yr for my eldest).
