      :
Read one recipe...stir fry the chicken for a min separately and then add to the half cooked rice to complete the cooking.

Stir-fried broccoli with carrot and slices of fish cake, a piece of fried fish and a bowl of plain rice.

                    Roti Prata with Assam Fish

                    http://i39.tinypic.com/16iy714.jpg\">

Hubs didn't want me to go to too much trouble this evening. The kiddies and him decided on just roti prata to eat with the stingray from yesterday's assam fish dish. They all like the fact that whatever fish is cooked in this dish would have absorbed even more flavour from the gravy, the following day. Same goes for curries. 😄

Had dinner with friends at Au Jardin… great service and good food. Great place for GNO, chic and relax ambience different from their Les Amis.

Need to destress. In the mood to cook and bake. The menu for tonight

Roasted whole chicken stuffed with butter rice/chestnut rice (if I can find chestnuts).
Dessert will be molten chocolate cake with ice-cream.

Cannot decide on what soup. Minestrone, french onion soup or melon soup (if it is chestnut rice).
