Same here, I alw have this problem. My chicken meat is alw undercooked, and the bottom of the rice chao tar. Still haven t acquire the skill of mking perfect claypot rice. πŸ˜„ So I usually put the meat to cook together with the rice.
        :

Read one recipe...stir fry the chicken for a min separately and then add to the half cooked rice to complete the cooking.

        This recipe ok to you?

          Roti Prata with Assam Fish

          http://i39.tinypic.com/16iy714.jpg\">

Hubs didn't want me to go to too much trouble this evening. The kiddies and him decided on just roti prata to eat with the stingray from yesterday's assam fish dish. They all like the fact that whatever fish is cooked in this dish would have absorbed even more flavour from the gravy, the following day. Same goes for curries. πŸ˜„

Had dinner with friends at Au Jardin… great service and good food. Great place for GNO, chic and relax ambience different from their Les Amis.

Need to destress. In the mood to cook and bake. The menu for tonight

Roasted whole chicken stuffed with butter rice/chestnut rice (if I can find chestnuts).
Dessert will be molten chocolate cake with ice-cream.

Cannot decide on what soup. Minestrone, french onion soup or melon soup (if it is chestnut rice).

I'd like to self-invite myself if you can squeeze a table for one, please? :please: The word \"molten chocolate\" is making me fantasize wild chocolate fantasies. I love chocolate.

French onion sounds ultra delicious. Caught one episode where Rachel Ray did hers. Got any shortcuts to whip this up and any delicious pics for us to drool over? :please:

Hope your stress disappears after dinner. :hugs:

PS : Uhmm if there isn't a table for one, I don't mind just an old stool to squeeze around the table either. πŸ˜‰

After Aston's last night, we wanted something a bit more cheena so went with chestnut rice stuffing with melon soup. Cheena seasoning for the chix too.

Left the cake in the oven a tad too long so no flowing lava but a soft moist centre.

I know what I am having for tomorrow's dinner. Cooked in advance a big pot of Bolognese Sauce ( but pork based) for pasta. It is sitting in the fridge now and will get tastier by tomorrow!
