like I said, these are just laws.
Do you think you maid will really complain if you have been treating your maid reasonably well?

Some have been known to complain about things like this after they are caught stealing as a counter to the employer's police report for theft. So, unfortunately, the answer is \"yes\". If only life was so simple...

but she gain something out of stealing.....what do they gain from complaining?

Perhaps I didn't phrase it properly. What I meant is that if she's happy working for you, then it's quite unlikely she will complain. As for greed....different matter. If she can steal from you without you noticing, then I guess she's more than happy working for you!!

            😉

anyway, if not comfortable, then do what you deem is right.

I treat my previous maid not bad… let her have her nap for afew hours, let her do whatever she want to do. Purposely send my kid to childcare to let her to be more free, bring her out for dinner almost every week. Whole day the house is empty. My kid only at home before 0700am and after 1830hrs. for myself only reach home after 2000hrs… Buy her nice clothes but ended up she ran away from home. i have to go MOM for coffee. so much freedom… less work but in the end what i got from her???

Did she run away near the end of her contract?

Nope. only came here 2 mths plus if not wrong. she told me she ran away from home. do not understand why the agent can gave me this kind of maid. moreover nothing much for her to do at home.

Chip in to dish a few advice when selecting maid, if you have the choice...

Choose a middle child that's from a big family with many siblings, they are usually more easy going, hardworking and can withstand stress, more respectful to the elders (authority). I will never go for a overly chirpy and friendly maid, also take a look at their feet and toes, :xedfingers:
