      Hi all, need some advice.

the soft fall mechanism of my 1 year old piano broke! The metal piece actually broke. This is not a second hand piano and i paid over 7 k for it. I am really outraged. What can I expect from the dealer when I contact them for an answer? A few months ago one of the screws in the lid came off as well but I only asked them to replace the screw, but this is too much.

Is there any warranty? We bought a piano 9 years ago and until now the soft fall mechanism is still working fine.

Yes there is warranty and the shop can probably put in another one. I just cannot believe that they can give me something so lousy in the first place and wonder if I should demand a total replacement. How can a thick piece of metal break ? Makes me wonder about the rest of the piano!!
