ok :thankyou: So creative! one dish and you can make it into various presentation. I am so going to try it. Is the pita bread a good option for lunch box, will the juice lsoften the pita?

Thanks for your compliments. It's always about presentation, right? Kids and husbands or rather, men, in general... are visual creatures.

Entice them to like what they see and they will eat it. šŸ˜‰

Pita is definitely a great lunch box option. For me, i bag them in ziploc bags or those disposable transparent da bao plastic bags with/without the red/orange strings. They can choose to heat it up right away in the microwave (mornings are always a mad rush for the school bus ) or they can bag it to school, as-is.

Yes any juice will soften the pita. So if you intend to have this packed off for junior or hubs use less of the fruit salad sauce/cream... and stir fry the mix till it is dry instead of moistly juicy. Juice content also varies between the veggies you select to stir fry them in. Tomatoes will surely add to the juice content even if you use less fruit salad sauce. But if you or the loved ones you are packing for like tomatoes, you can consider setting aside some slices in a separate compartment in your lunchbox. Dry the lettuce with a paper towel after rinsing as extra measure. If you are still wary about the pita wetting itself before break time, then you may consider bento-ing it. Yup, separate all the ingredients. The ones having them can just add in the ingredients from the separate compartments of the lunch box come their break time.

Wonderful! Thanks for the good advice! will try it out soon šŸ˜„

                        Another heavy lunch...

Had foie gras xiao long bao as starter, beef broth, main course was beef short rib rendang, Baba au Rhum for dessert. All for $68++, what a steal.... and the top-of-the-world view, priceless šŸ˜‰
