By the way RGPS parents, I wrote to the principal regarding average scores to be released, maybe more parents can write in it'll lend more support. One voice they may not hear or take me seriously.

Honestly, I'm not being kiasu or what, just that at least I know what to expect and not get a rude shock when I get report bk. More to moderate my expectations of DD.

I dont see how hiding the average scores can help reduce stress. For me, the unknown creates more anxiety and stress. Don't know where my daughter stands.

Hope more parents can email to principal
Yes, it's the right way to write to Principle. my DD's FT told them, some parents wrote to her about the ave marks issue; she told girls that she can do nothing because it's the decision of school...

I’ve also written to the principal. Waiting to see her response.

What do other parents think of the SAI exam timetable. I don’t know why they cram Sci and Maths on the same week and listening compre on the next week. I think it is better that listening compre be changed to either Sci or Math so the girls hv more time to study.

I guess might be better to space it out but I don’t have any major issue with it being in the same week either. The exam schedule has been given way ahead so just need to plan the revision accordingly.

For DD on the other hand, to her once math and science papers are over it means exam is over.

The P replied and she said it is the school's direction. The school wants to develop girls who are 'intrinsically motivated'.

With that, I will expect teachers to be a lot more on the ball with feedback and updates to parents. Will see if we hear more from the teachers.

Hi please recommend a few enrichment centres to improve English essay writing. Though my DD reads a lot of story books but she is not able to write well and express her ideas in a concise, relevant manner…

She has received feedbacks like: irrelevant content, poor arrangement of ideas and facts, details included are limited with little elaboration, linking of ideas is not always successful…
                I Stressed…
                Appreciated.
