The grandparents speak Chinese but we don't live with them. I guess the grandma can help but her conversation is always \"What did you eat today?\" :rotflmao: Maybe I should give them topics to discuss :scratchhead:

Daily tuition in Chinese is expensive :moneyflies:

I agree on the money part...sounds like time to spend more time with grandparents...\"remind me of how I used to learn Cantonese from my nanny when I was young...

i think give them some time for bonding bonding too...then conversation will take place naturally when they just want to chit chat... 😃

Thanks for the advice. I will think of the topics they can chit chat on 🙂

DS went ahead with his oral when he was under the weather. He did not alert me or the teachers. In the end, confused right 右 with left 左 for chinese picture discussion, which means all 'sala' liao! Poor boy endured headache and chills until noon, buah tahan then call me to fetch him home. Thank goodness it is not the real PSLE 😓

We really have to watch their health. No point study so hard but fall sick at the last hour, all efforts will be wasted.

Yes, he is better today.Thank you. 😄 Made him sleep early last night after taking medicine. Probably 'over-heated' & dehydrated under these sauna-ing weather!
Haiyo...Tomorrow have to revise Eng & MT paper 1, science, Maths...so much so much to do!

It’s holiday today! Wondering how do you allocate study time and free time for relaxing or maybe have some family activities like going out for family time or meals…

Love to hear from our parents… 😃

Oh John, sorry to hear about your DD2, hope she recovers soon. Staying in the ward with viruses in the air is probably not the best option. I have had experience with DC when they were younger. I will request to return home asap once the fever is under control. If situation calls for it, request for individual room. You take care too, can be quite a strain for parent to travel to and fro hospital.
