:xedfingers: If you need contact for experience indonesian FDW at $450 per month exclude off day pay, can pm me.
-
AE Soh are you an agent? What is your quality control for the maid?
-
No. Just sharing cost saving info.
You may check with the agent on your preferred QC requirement if you need
Pros of having experience maid as compared to new maid I feel are;
1. Communication
2. Less stressful and less time consuming to teach them your preferred method of doing household chores.
3. Able to assimilate to the household with ease.
Cons of it…;
1. May have change employer frequently for whatever reasons which is difficult to seek the truth.
2. Use hp all day with earpiece on and have bf then fail medical exam if pregnant.
3. Not as obedient as new maid.
After all, they are human too just like how we seek greener pasture. -
Am also sharing some cost saving info. I came across a Myanmar helper who recently completed her 2 year contract taking care of elderly who passed on. Able to cook Chinese food. Pm me for details if you are interested.Thanks!

The myanmar maids' overseas recruitment fees are high and if their salary is not at a certain standard, they runaway like what is stated in the news above. -
Usually the salary are requested by the maids themselves, those with experience think they are more value added hence the costly salary.
-
I managed to get the fee waived off, she is currently into her 2nd mth wif mi. Despite 2+yrs ex-sin, her English is atrocious, totally not worth the salary asking for though she is still quite efficient wif chores. Then again, it's way too early to judge. :xedfingers:

Any recommendation on economical calling card to Myanmar? Also remittance services wif low service fees? TIA
-
Go to peninsula plaza. They have everything burmese. Buy calling cards from there, give longer airtime. The ones from our regular providers just too ex for them to call home.
My helper goes to one convenience shop in that building, 3rd floor I think with yellow signboard. They run a remittance service. They charge few dollars for the fee and probably recoup via the exchange rate. Dont think western union has remittance service to that country…at least not 2 years ago. -
Thanks hquek…the regular telco charged very high like $10 for 23mins kinda thing so trying to ask ard for alternatives. Western union does remit to Myanmar now but I’m comparing the service fees to help her save abit if possible.
