5/5-1/5=4/5(left after sold books on Sun)
4 units->40
1 unit-> 40 / 4=10
5 unit-> 10 x 5= 50
50+ 560=610
He had 610 books at first.

b)If there were 30 more boys’ non-swimmers than girls’ non-swimmers how many swimmers were there altogether?

b)Class 5B raised $104 less than class 5C.How much money did class 5C raise?
Q4) There were 20 more pears than plums at a fruit stall.After 1/5 of the pears and 3/10 of the plums were sold, there were 46 pears and plums left.How many plums were left over.

44 + 3/5 + 1/4
3/5 = 600gram
1/4 = 250gram
Total = 44kg 850 gram
31 x 1.41 = 43.71
Balance = 44.85 - 43.71 = 1.14kg
Money collect from 31 packet = 31 x 7.20 = $223.20
Money collected from balance = 1.14 x9 = 10.26
Total money = 223.20 + 10.26 = $233.46 -

Boys' swimmers : Boys' non-swimmers = 3 : 2 --> 21u : 14u
Girls' swimmers : Girls's non-swimmers = 5 : 2 --> 30u : 12u
Total number of non-swimmers = 14u + 12u = 26u
a) fraction of the children who are non-swimmers = 26/77
Total number of swimmers --> 21u + 30u = 51u
Boys' non-swimmer --> 14u
Girls' non-swimmer --> 12u
2u --> 30, 1u --> 15
Total number of swimmers --> 51 x 15 = 765

1 - 2/5 - 1/6 = 13/30
Funds raised by Class 5C --> 13/30 of total
13/30 total - 1/6 of total = 8/30 of total --> $104
1/30 of total --> $13
Funds raised by Class 5C --> 13 x $13 = $ 169
