Hi, can I check for Phase 2A2, will MOE consider the distance of our house still? Or they’ll just based on my husband’s old record book. Thanks in advance!

Distance will be taken into consideration if there is any balloting, from P2A onwards. -
If I register my child under 2a1 at a school. Can I still try to get another spot at a nearby school during 2c? Whats the procedure? Do we know immediately on tat day if we get in? And if this is possible when n how do I withdraw fr the initial sch I applied for under 2a1

Yes.susu3:
You and your spouse need to be stationed in the two schools - one in the P2A1 school and the other at the P2C school. Once you have decided to register with the P2C school, the one who is at the P2A1 school needs to withdraw your child's application before the one at the P2C school is able to proceed with the registration.Whats the procedure?
susu3:
Depends. If the school traditionally has balloting in the distance category you are in, you will only know the result of your application on the day of balloting. Please note that once you give up the P2A1 place and should you do not succeed at the P2C school, you cannot return to the former school to claim your place.Do we know immediately on tat day if we get in?
susu3:
Parents usually do it on the third day of P2C registration. Call the P2C school in the afternoon (about 3 pm) to enquire about the status and your child's chance of getting into the school. Discuss with your spouse and take it from there. And if this is possible when n how do I withdraw fr the initial sch I applied for under 2a1
The person doing the withdrawing does not need the original documents. Only the person doing the registration needs them. -
Thanks so much for the info!
