Hi bellgal,
Yes, I am definitely older than you! I was at the Cantonment premises from p1-p3 so you can guess my age! Still remember my first funfair at Cantonment!
I read older posts in 2012 that kids in p1 can join certain ccas such as Chinese dance or band. Do you know if it’s still the same now? Dd has been bugging me about joining Chinese dance in Fairfield after she saw that they had a gold award last year! -
Hi hi
My son in P1 this year too
Good to know more parents from Fairfield !
My son is in 1H how about yrs?
As of now his form teacher is very good. Will send email updates if there are anything for parents to take note of.
My son had no complaints of his form teacher ...
Would like to gather more feedbacks from other mummies too

Dear parents,
May i know if there is a student care available in the school premise? -
Yes, APC is within the school premises, but the queue is very long. Better register early.

Thanks gerberadaisy.
Sorry, i am very new here and what is APC?
My son going to have P1 registration only next year so do you mean i need to register for student care now? -
APC is short for Aldersgate Powerlife Centre, the student care just next to Fairfield (actully it’s within Fairfield premises, hence no need to cross any road). Can call up to check on registration - 67746308. They give priority to siblings of current students.

Hi
Im keen to find out if the majority of the kids here with fmps stays within 1-2km? Any kids from central? I am thinking of sending my kids to give them a holistic learning besides academic striving with emphasis of character building. I am staying in the tiong bahru area and did not see many fmps kids. Only spotted 2 kids in uniform around my area.
We are deciding between sending kids to nearby school radin mas/ river valley/ zhangde primary to a mission/ christian school like fmps. Main reason to send to fmps, a coed christian school nearest to our residence compared to the other christian schools that are either boys/ girls’ school. We did consider sending kids to these but thought there would be too much work for the family and kids to attend diff christian schools. Schools like acs/ mgs/ st margaret etc are not near as well.
Hope to gather some thoughts from the current primary school kids’ parents here if we should take into consideration putting our kids in fmps or just stick to neighouring sch.
How many parents who went thr 2c successfully? How long is sch bus ride from your pl to school for those staying >2km? -
My advice is that it is not easy to get into Fairfield even if you stay within 1-2km. Almost every year phrase 2C needs balloting.
Last year was a nightmare for me and others as well. Luckily we got ballot in
Be mentally prepared that even if you shift near the school, you could be ballot out and what is your back up plan.
My son loves the school so much that during weekends whenever we drove pass the school he keep looking at it and look forward to Monday. -
Forget to add, those staying >2km usually don’t even have chance to ballot.
You may call the school to check. Give them your postal code and they will advice you accordingly.
