IMHO, we should read this chart with a heavy pinch of salt as it is very likely to be produced by a water filter company or some researcher sponsored by a water filter company.

You may be right, but can you dispute it?

I believe it is in relation to the length of time spent on the various places like sleeping on the bed, frequency of washing and amount of water used, frequency of visiting the toilet and showering etc

Totally out of context. How does frequency of washing and amount of water used come into the equation here? :?
This requires some form of education ๐Ÿ˜†

        Er....isn't this out of context?
I agree that bacteria multiply inside the washer...but what has it gotta do with having a filter? :scratchhead:

All of them uses a filter in some form or shape including the bed.

Adding a filter to the washer does not stop bacteria from growing inside the washer. Bacteria grows in cold and damp places.
Just as adding the right filter to drinking water.
Again, some form of education is needed. ๐Ÿ˜†
tatz why i also have a beauty ion shower head for my hair and skin :rahrah:

Hi radiantmum, is the water jet from the shower head strong enough? I've bought a filtered water ion shower head some years back and found that the water coming out is too little. Did not use it in the end, money wasted. Pl advise as I'm looking for one that's more \"powerful\" in terms of water jet. Thanks.

The ion shower head I know are mostly powerful and save water as well.

The video may gives you more inside.

            hi sunflower,

powerful enough and therapeutic for me too cos water jets out like fine needles.

i was worried about that too 'cos I was told higher filtration will compromise on the water flow output but heng, no issue.

again, not sure if the benefits as miraculous as claimed but for the promo price I got it, treat it as spa if it does work lor. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Hi radiantmum, thanks for the info. Hmmm... might give this shower head a try...

              Agree!

Try washing a load of dirty filthy socks and then leave in inside the washer for a few hours after it's done and with the cover closed....filter or no filter, you will

Are we talking about sediments or bacteria?

If bacteria, I doubt thereโ€™s much of it in the water coz of the chlorine added.

I donโ€™t feel there is need to remove chlorine from water used to wash cloths.

Like I mentioned earlier, if we use filter for SG water supply, it is more to remove impurities, not so much as to remove bacteria/viruses (even if the filter can do that too). As PUB has officially stated (somewhere, I guess), that the water is safe to drink straight from the tap.

And, bacteria may not grow in the tap water due to the chlorine, and may grow in the filtered water instead.

                      Hi,

Anyone care to share about the benefits of alkaline water? There seems to be 2 school of thoughts, one being alkaline water is good for the body, the other seems to saying drinking alkaline water is a scam. Any personal experiences?

It all depends very much on your personal experience, and people you know who drank it and get better or not.

If a person who had some heart issue, and claim that after drinking it, got so much better, will you tell him, it is probably some other medication or food he took that got him well?

Of course, there will be critics and others who don't believe in it.
There is always two sides to a coin.

It is more important your own personal experience and belief and never let negatives or critics affect what you personally has seen or experience.

A video to show what it can benefit.
