I understand that for both IP and Express stream, it will be AL20 or less. I was wondering if a student applied for a school with Express & Normal stream and he/she is given a CO for express. In the event if the student didn’t do well enough to qualify for express, does the CO still stands but the student will be posted to Normal or it is void?

Why \"not much hope\"? You never try, you never know. Even though the result is not what we want
but we have tried our best.

For me, there is no much hope for strike ToTo, but I still buy...as per my colleagues said 有买有希望 😆

Well at least you have affiliation backup. You never know what SST is looking for. I think articulation and collaborative skills are key in addition to interest in science.

                  Received PG notification this morning:

                  Dear Parents,

Just to clarify, the PG notification came from the primary school. Not MOE (which sometimes disseminates crucial info via PG).

Just happens DS’ primary school disseminated this info to parents (they are not always on-the-ball, like we didnt get the list of open house dates like other primary schools). So it’s school dependent.

Come check on KSP for updates, we will try to share!

                        From what I see,

                        you can consider DSA for
(ACSI IB + SST) for your son, because

the affliated ACS Secondary school he doesn't even need to apply for any DSA, because he can definitely go back there, based on the Affliation status, if that's what he wants. So, just proceed to apply DSA for (ACSI and SST), see which school(s) offer him CO

                        or

He can also apply to Victoria Secondary, because
even the O level track Victoria boys have affliation 2 points discount to Victoria Junior College, not just the IP-track-Victoria-Secondary-boys only.

                        And

                        a) if ACSI (IB) were to offer your son CO and if IB is indeed what your son wants, not what you (mother / parent) want, then encourage him to accept the CO.

                        b) but if he still cannot decide whether he truly want IB, then let him go O-level track in a Secondary school first. After his O-level is over, then after his 16 yo birthday, by then he is more mature in his thinking, he can decide for himself what exactly he wants to pursue. Continue with (IB or A-level or Poly) path, before uni come ?

In fact, nowadays at Upper Sec 3 (15 year old), many teenagers are encouraged to submit an optional Research project related to Career options, ie. What career plan do they have in mind for themselves, and then submit a research proposal on this. Projects can be done individually, or in groups of 2. So, the Secondary schools are already guiding our teens to think : what do they want to do, with their life ? Some are very much into (AI, IT) savvy, while others stay away from these areas, more keen in business, others
