From p4 onwards, Except for p6 prelim, geppers take a different paper (same among the 9 centers) as compared to mainstream.
Apologies for asking as my DS is not in the GEP. Why would a score for a GEP subject be different (higher or lower) vs. the non-GEP subject. I always thought that GEP was just a different way of learning so the exams are crafted differently to assess the student. Are the papers more difficult (unlikely, that they are easier) such that a lower score for a GEP subject would mean a better score for the same non-GEP subject?
Yes to your question - many geppers can score 95-100 easily on the math paper for MS
But struggle to get 85-90 for their own set. (Top few kids gets 95-100 regardless of paper, they belong to the MO god level, Hahahha) -
can i ask, if i have 2 CO should i inform sch of the one i not taking now, so they can quickly give to the next WL or is there no difference?

Those on the Wait list will be very thankful to you, for your timely withdrawal. But do this, only when u really decided not to talk up the DSA offer, from this school -

Hoping for NUS High only. RI seems highly unlikely because even in MO/SO, he is not among the rank holders. Not looking for SAP schools as well. Wondering which schools to apply to for Math domain apart from NUS High.
Will NUSH be more lenient to applicants whose languages are less outstanding compared to their strengths in Maths/Sc?
But if you are aiming for RI/HCI, then your DS must buck up for his languages. I recalled I was looking at only RGS/NYGH for my DD2 so I make sure her overall results cross 85%. At 85%, she was like average in her class but this is for girls only (and some years back already). Am not sure if girls generally outdo boys at psle level.
DD2 had a classmate whose results were not strong, around high 70s. She was shortlisted for DSA interviews but was eventually unsuccessful. -

Wow! I had no idea. That's good to know.. which explains why my DS didn't get through the GEP exams

Also can consider NJC (STEAM), Victoria, TJC -
