Unknown at this time. The SIE will only open if there is vacancy when/after PSLE results are released. MOE/NUSH do not know how many kids will be allocated to NUSH until the end of the week (i.e. all WL converted and SIE opens or not all WLs are converted).

My son got two confirm orders …
NUSH and SST
so my DSA preference first choice is. 1.NUSH. 2. SST
I submitted yesterday…
My doubt is whether I should include SST or not…because they are going to fix the first choice right then are we in need to say the second one…pls reply

Hi and congrats. I think it doesn't matter (put both or only NUSH); you should be able to leave as is.

Whether u put one or both, is the same, doesn't matter.

Since the first one, NUS High is already a CO,
MOE will just slot (allocate) your child into.... NUS High. Processing stopped, won't bother to move down to #2, process anymore.

My child has 3 CO, and asked me to put in all three, so she can keep the MOE pdf record for her memory.
I thought that was quite an interesting perspective
Btw, anyone with COs started to buy school uniforms? Too kiasu?
A friend shared with me her nightmare experience of not being able to get uniforms after Sec school posting during Covid years. I suppose the supply situation would have eased by now?

Yes, of course u can start buying school uniform now, if your kid have accepted the Secondary school’s CO. Don’t wait until December then start to buy because by then, very crowded, or maybe the size that your kid want is out of stock, because so many people are buying by then, as brand new year 2023 school Term 1, Sec 1, open

Not related to DSA per-se but may I ask how much is suitable range of pocket money to give sec school kids?

Any difference between normal secondary sch vs independent schools for canteen prices?
