Thanks Floppy, ok so it seems like sports domain looks like it has a higher chance. Hopefully with the add on leadership roles the child has, it will make the DSA application stands out more.

Believe at this point, there is no point asking about your chances, or asking about someone else’s chances. No one will be able to tell u the correct answer, and any attempts will only make u feel better, or worst, without being any real help. A lot depends on the actual profile, the type of school the applicant is applying for, and the type of competition the applicant is up against. Since the dsa submissions are closed, just want for the news, and enjoy your hols.

See,
whether your son can get in DSA or not, a lot will depend on how good is he, in comparison to rest of his competitors who have also applied for the same (Secondary school and same, identical domain as he).
Do you have any control, over his competitors ? No, you don't. So, don't ask people here anymore, what is the chance of your son. We don't even know your son, to begin with.
Since your son had already applied and DSA door (dateline) already closed, just go with the flow. If he is selected, school will contact him in due time. Just wait patiently, for school to contact him. Otherwise, just focus on Psle prep -

Or maybe they will wait for most teachers to come back from their overseas holidays?[/quote] what I am really trying to do is simply to encourage all parents to stop staring at their phones for incoming calls and to start having fun with their children this hols :rotflmao:
Typically the schools will only receive the data / start to look at the information sent across by MOE after mid June. By that, it doesn’t mean all schools will start working on it at the first instance. The schools with announced dates of trials/interviews in June will start calling applicants just before those stated dates (few days to a week before) while the actual action usually only starts after school re-opens. In fact, more often than not, the calls will only start coming after school re-opens.
